The 1×8 VGA Distribution Amplifier is designed to work as a splitter for VGA Video applications. Capable of splitting a VGA signal from one source to eight devices with compatible inputs. A built in amplifier will boost the signal to the needed level, to prevent signal loss and picture degradation. A maximum bandwidth of >1GHz will support a sharp and highly defined video in multiple resolutions of up to 2048×2048. The VGA Splitter works great, however, if you want to purchase this product, you may want to go and search for a “15 pin VGA Female Coupler” – The majority of VGA cables today are male to male while hardware usually provides a female port to plug into, not this VGA splitter. It requires a female coupler for the video in port. Fortunately you can find a coupler right here on Amazon and can order it at the same time as the splitter (Don’t make the mistake we did and order the splitter on a time crunch without the right accessories). The box stores do not carry the splitter, so unless you have the right cables or accessories, this product will not work for you. We’ve had no problems with the splitter itself and would recommend it to others on a budget. For people who have more money to spend, you may want to consider a more up to date splitter.
